Bell Canada

Bell Canada is now my favourite company.

Why? Well, I’ve now been without home phone service for 7 days. One full week. Heck, I’ve been without home phone service for 25% of the duration of my phone service at the new house.

Anyhoo, I’ve created a new category for Bell Canada because I’m expecting I’ll be writing a whole lot more about them over the next couple weeks.

  1. I am a Toronto lawyer, our firm works in consumer protection and we are interested in commencing a class action against Bell on behalf of people who have experienced service interruptions on their residential lines resulting in increased cell phone bills (during the past 6 months). If you are interested in getting involved, please contact me to discuss.

  3. I had problems with my home phone and interenet for three months. Bell is doing construction in front of our apartment building. Their repairmen are incompetant. They said it was the panel in the building and refused to fix it. Finally they found water in the cable from the building to the construction.
I am 68 and live alone. It was an unsafe situation. I could not phone 911 and I could not let anyone in the building.
When I requested a credit, Bell Billing (Costa Rica) told me 10 days was my maximum. They would not let me speak to anybody from Bell in Canada.
I have been a customer for 40 years.
