University of New Brunswick Researchers Achieve Hydrogen Storage Breakthrough

I was skimming through AutoBlogGreen today and saw an article about the University of New Brunswick. Apparently, University of New Brunswick Researchers Achieve Hydrogen Storage Breakthrough. This is pretty cool if you’re into alternative and future fuels. Hydrogen is starting to become another high profile alternative fuel (along with biodiesel and ethanol) but the biggest problem has always been storing the hydrogen. The breakthrough that Dr. Sean McGrady‘s team at UNB has found is to combine hydrogen with aluminum so that the hydrogen can be stored as a solid until it is needed.

Pretty cool to hear stuff like this coming out of the university I spent a lot of money at. :)
